Swatch: eye CANDY - Colour Flip

Hi ladies! Ever since eye CANDY London sent me Liquid Gold to review, I have been desperately trying to find the remaining three Colour Flip polishes I needed but unfortunately I live in a small town with a limited 'beauty range' in my local Sainsburys so I've never been able to find them! However, last weekend I was on my way to catch the ferry over to Bruges and stopped at a random Sainsburys store to stock up on some snacks for our overnight trip and whilst I was there I thought I would check out their beauty section to see if they had any in stock, loan behold they had ALL of them! Since you're reading this post, I obviously snagged them all.

For those of you who haven't seen any of my previous eye CANDY London posts here's a little bit of background behind the brand; Originally only sold in selected Sainsburys stores, eye CANDY London is a 3-free brand which is sourced, created, designed & manufactured in the UK and offers high end quality without the price tag. Swatch: eye CANDY - Liquid Gold

So you may remember I posted a Press Release for the new eye CANDY Nail Polishes which are being released into larger Sainsburys stores around the UK, well today I have one of three eye CANDY polishes to show you! So now that you all have a little information on eye CANDY, let's get on to the swatches! Here is one of the four Colour Flip polishes in the collection, Liquid Gold.

Liquid Gold is a gorgeous dark, metallic Gold with a Blue/Green duochrome effect. There's been a lot of these floating around the polish world lately, ever since the infamous Chanel - Peridot was released in the Autumn of 2011, from brands such as OPI, Jessica, Ciaté and soon to be China Glaze. Unfortunately, I don't own any of the above so I can't compare them for you, but from what I can see, they do look similar. The formula of eye CANDY polishes are amazing, they glide on like butter and from what I can see, they are all very pigmented and have a quick drying time, which is perfect for when you're on the go!

eye CANDY Colour Flip polishes are available for purchase at most large Sainsburys stores in the UK for £8 each! As of right now, Sainsburys are the sole retailers for eye CANDY polishes, but they are planning on expanding to selected retailers in the future. What are your thoughts on Liquid Gold?
