Swatch Series: OPI - Skyfall Collection

Hi ladies! Day 3 in the Skyfall collection brings us to Live And Let Die! This is probably one of the most well known Bond films and also one with the most recognisable theme song. As always, let's take a look at the movies background.

The 8th James Bond film

Starring Roger Moore as James Bond [his 1st Bond], Jane Seymour as Solitaire, Clifton James as Sheriff J.W. Pepper, Geoffrey Holder (the "Uncola" man) as Baron Samedi and Yaphet Kotto as the villain, Kananga/Mr. Big. With David Hedison as Felix Leiter. Directed by Guy Hamilton. Theme song by Paul McCartney and Wings. Filmed in New Orleans.

Opening dates: UK July 6, 1973; US June 27, 1973.

Now for the swatches!

Live And Let Die is a Forest Green base with Gold and Green flecks throughout. This is probably one of my favourites in the collection, saying that I have a lot of favourites from this collection - a first for OPI. I had no trouble with the application, it applied well and you could get away with one thick coat, but for the swatches above I used two coats, without a base or top coat - look at that shine!

So there you have Live And Let Die! Remember to check back tomorrow for another Skyfall swatch!
